12U Dukes Travel to Cooperstown
The Dukes returned from Cooperstown, NY this past Friday after a successful week in the 2009 American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Invitational Tournament. The players and coaches faced tough competition in facing teams from around the country while adjusting to the warm temperatures and high humidity.
The Dukes placed 25 out of 103 teams. Their final game was a tough loss to the #2 seeded team, the Las Vegas Warriors. The higher ranked Warriors squeezed out a 6-5 victory over the Dukes in the bottom of the 6th inning.
